Individual coaching with Frven Lim starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. The first paid coaching session is £300. A package of 3 private sessions costs £780 in total. These prices are in pounds sterling (GBP), and coaching is available online worldwide, with in-person options where appropriate. Paid-session duration and booking terms should be agreed before committing.
The useful question is not simply “Which coach is cheapest?” It is whether the proposed work addresses your situation, whether you understand the scope, and whether you feel able to speak honestly with the person helping you. This guide explains Frven's individual coaching; it is not a survey of market prices.
What is the difference between discovery and paid coaching?
The free discovery call is a conversation about fit. You can describe the decision, pressure or dissatisfaction that brought you there and ask how Frven works. You do not need a complete explanation or a polished goal. There is no obligation to continue.
A paid session is a private working conversation focused on your priorities: exploring the patterns behind a situation, considering options and identifying practical next steps. Discovery should not be mistaken for a free substitute for ongoing coaching.
| Option | Published fee | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery call | Free; 30 minutes | Discuss your situation and assess fit without an obligation to proceed. |
| First paid session | £300 | One private coaching session focused on your priorities. |
| Three-session package | £780 total | Three private sessions for reflection, practical changes and review. |
What does the three-session package include?
The package includes three private coaching sessions. The focus is agreed around your circumstances rather than a fixed sequence everyone must complete. For example, you might examine why work follows you home, prepare a difficult conversation or test a boundary that protects attention outside work. These are possible topics, not promised results.
Having more than one conversation creates an opportunity to return to what you have tried, notice what was difficult and adjust your next steps. That does not mean every problem can be resolved in three sessions. Agree the goals and pace with Frven, and distinguish the opportunity to review progress from a guarantee of transformation.
Should I choose one session or a package?
Discuss a first paid session if you want to begin working on a specific priority without assuming a longer engagement. Discuss the package if returning to the same priorities over several conversations seems useful. The discovery call can help you decide which approach fits, including whether a different kind of support would be more appropriate.
If you begin with one session and later want a package, ask how that first session would be treated before booking. The published first-session fee does not establish a deposit, an instalment schedule or an automatic credit towards a package.
What should I confirm before paying?
- The duration, format and scheduling of paid sessions.
- The focus of the work and how progress will be discussed.
- Payment arrangements, any applicable tax treatment, and cancellation or rescheduling terms.
- How a first session relates to a later package, if that is your intention.
- Time-zone availability for online sessions and practical arrangements for any in-person meeting.
Do not assume that the 30-minute discovery-call length is the length of a paid session. Nor should the package total be read as a promise of between-session messaging or continuous availability.
Is coaching the same as therapy?
No. Frven's coaching is forward-looking support for reflection, decisions and practical change. It does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions and is not medical care or psychotherapy. If you are concerned about your mental or physical health, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.
